Information Gathering

Compelling Cases consults with you to determine the goal of your case studies, the audience, and the key ideas that are important to feature. Your company and CC also review sample case study formats to determine the best format and length of the cases.
Before creating questions, Compelling Cases spends time learning about your product or service by reviewing marketing materials, demos or talking with representatives.

Question Creation

Compelling Cases develops questions that will most effectively capture the return on investment details and key value propositions regarding your product or service.

Interviewing

First, you identify and provide qualified satisfied customers who are willing to talk with a Compelling Cases specialist about their experience. Let them know the name of the person who will be calling them to set up an interview time and how much of their time is needed.
Your satisfied customer receives a copy of the interview questions for prior review, along with your legal release form, if you use one. Compelling Cases does not provide legal release forms, but can provide a sample as a starting point.
A Compelling Cases specialist, alone or with a representative of your company, interviews the end customer in person or on the phone. A representative from your company is welcome to join the call, if desired, however it is not necessary.

Feedback from You and Your Customer

Compelling Cases develops a case study draft and sends it to the primary case study contact in your organization. You return the draft to CC for edits/revisions.
Compelling Cases sends the draft to your featured customer for approval and any edits, checking back until approval is secured.
Compelling Cases delivers a completed, approved editorial draft to you.

Design/Layout

If CC coordinates the design/layout with your designer or another, comps are sent to you for review and feedback until a final version is reached.
