Customer Case Studies
Customer case studies, also called success stories, user stories or application stories, feature satisfied customers who have agreed to discuss their experiences. This type offers the highest level of credibility because it includes direct quotes, first-hand details and specific return on investment (ROI) information, when available. These can be any length, but are typically about two pages when designed. Customer cases are highly recommended when your customers are willing to talk about their positive experiences.
Application Profiles
Application profiles, or case examples, are similar to customer profiles. They are also written from your company's perspective, but leave the name of the end customer anonymous (ex: "a leading manufacturing company..."). This type features the specifics of how a customer is using your product or service to illustrate functionality to prospective customers.
Snapshots
Snapshots are abbreviated versions of customer case studies, customer profiles or application profiles. This shortened version, usually one page long or less, enables you to showcase your customers and the benefits they are receiving at a glance, but without as much time and investment as the extended versions.
