There’s the Cincinnati mom who now commands Wall Street wages, an actual rocket scientist who makes six figures on the side, a retired school counselor who earns extra income writing from Costa Rica, and a novelist who pays the bills with copywriting.
In marketing its many programs, American Writers & Artists Inc. (AWAI) lets these successful copywriters – and many more – speak for them.
Since 1997, the organization has trained thousands of people as copywriters and business owners, with support and programs on not just writing but photography, graphic design, social media skills and more.
Those considering investing in AWAI programs often ask, “Are people really making a good living writing?” Prospective members find the answer in the many true stories of AWAI members.
“Case studies are an effective and engaging way to showcase our success stories,” says Katie Yeakle, Executive Director of AWAI. “They’re much richer and more powerful than just a testimonial.”
AWAI partners with Casey Hibbard to capture the stories of its most successful members. Each AWAI case study brings out the individual’s unique journey, from overcoming roadblocks to finding their first clients to what the writer’s life looks like for them now. These days, those stories are one of the most popular parts of the AWAI website, and a pillar in building trust with potential members.
“Casey Hibbard just knows how to hone in on the most interesting aspects of a person’s story, making her case studies such valuable marketing tools,” Yeakle says. “She takes an idea and runs with it, delivering a great finished product. That’s why she has done 36 case studies for us so far and will be doing more. She is a marketer’s dream to work with.”
Helping people develop skills to acquire financial security, independence and freedom – that’s been American Writers & Artists Inc.’s (AWAI) mission since we opened our doors in 1997. And since then, we’ve helped thousands of people discover how to become a highly success copywriter and business owner so they can live their dreams, on their terms.
